About LTK
Licensed To Kill (LTK) is a community built for pest management professionals who want more than just another industry forum. Through our Discord server, podcast, events, and educational initiatives, we connect technicians, owners, manufacturers, and industry leaders while creating opportunities to learn, network, and build lasting relationships.
From professional development to gaming tournaments and community outreach, LTK exists to strengthen the pest control industry—one connection at a time.
Marcus Scruggs started LTK on 1 January 2025 because pest pros needed a way to get to know each other. What began as a video game group has become a full hub for people in pest control. It puts everyone in the trade in the same room, casually, through gaming and hobbies. Today it has 545 members (September 2026), with 25–35 active in a typical week — technicians, managers, owners, entomologists, sales reps and office staff.
LTK is an informal community of people in the trade. It isn’t an accredited body, a certifying organisation or a trade association, and nothing on this site should be read as if it were.
Marcus Scruggs owns and runs it, and hosts the Licensed to Kill Podcast. More than ten years as a pest management professional, specializing in food safety, audits, sanitation and public health, and a certified applicator. More about Marcus · Hear him on the podcast.

This site publishes regulatory guidance that people act on and reviews that influence real purchase decisions. Everything about how that gets made — sourcing, review, dating, corrections, sponsorship boundaries, moderation — is written down here rather than assumed. If something below is vague, that is a defect and we want to hear about it.
Editorial standards
How regulatory content is sourced, reviewed, dated and corrected — and what we do when we have not verified something yet.
How we test and review
Testing protocol, scoring criteria, the separation of editorial scores from member ratings, and the flat statement that reviews are not for sale.
Sponsorship policy
What a sponsor can buy, what no amount of money buys, how sponsored content is labelled, and why member data is not for sale.
House rules
How the Discord actually runs: the written handbook, who moderates, what gets someone removed, and the line on unsafe advice.
Press
What we can speak to on the record, and what we will not do with member information.
Contact
Four routes: membership, sponsorship, press, investors.
