How many CEUs does North Dakota require for pest control licence renewal?
It depends which licence you hold — North Dakota sets a different obligation for each tier, and they are not even measured the same way. Commercial Applicator (also public applicator and dealer) owe attend a board-approved training or pass a board-approved exam, at least every third year; Private Applicator owe board-approved seminar or exam. There is no single pooled number, which is the most common reason somebody arrives at renewal short.

- Exam structure
- Core certification exam plus one or more class exams (60-03-01-05). The Board designates NDSU Extension to provide training, administer testing and issue certifications; exams are taken at NDSU County Extension offices. A failed exam may be retaken after three or more days. NDSU training registration lists the structural class as "Home, Industrial and Institution" and fumigation as "Fumigation (Commodities and Structural)".
