Louisiana pest control CEU requirements

Quick answerVerified October 1, 2026

How many CEUs does Louisiana require for pest control licence renewal?

It depends which licence you hold — Louisiana sets a different obligation for each tier, and they are not even measured the same way. Licensee owe attend an ldaf-approved recertification program at least once every three years; Registered technician owe annual approved training, at least 4 hours, each calendar year (1 jan – 31 dec). There is no single pooled number, which is the most common reason somebody arrives at renewal short.

The Commission or its staff must approve the application first. Exams cost $50 per phase, need 70%, and may include oral or pest-identification parts.
